Olivier Taverney has been both an entrepreneur and a senior manager, having started and managed operations in both developed and emerging markets, including Switzerland, the US, China, Indonesia, and Mexico. During that time, it was his experience that the sensible application of sound business principles could yield impressive results both across industries and functional areas, and is basically what management consulting is really all about.
Thus, in 2001 he decided to combine his entrepreneurial flair with his business expertise by creating SIMOIL CONSULTING. Since then, he has been developing and implementing successful strategies to improve sales, profitability, and efficiency in such diverse industries as fine chemistry, electronics, information technology, pharmaceuticals, packaging, food, telecommunications, luxury products, and tobacco, for both local and multinational companies.
Olivier holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Business as well as a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL).
